Windur, related to Skadu but very different.......

This super-handy awning – I call it ‘Windur’ – is multifunctional and just that little bit more wind-resistant than its sister model, Skadu.

Windur can, as it were, extend the car, but can also be easily slid into a caravan rail using one of the two tendons.

Angled against the wind, it acts as a little roof for extra shade or protection from the rain.

Or how about a covered terrace next to your caravan?

Skadu and Windur aren’t very different in shape, but they’re both fitted completely differently and made from different materials.

Windur:

• Windur is green with a silver-coloured coating on the inside – 295.95 euros
• Windur has two tendons, 1.3 m and 1.8 m long, with a diameter of 7 mm
• There are O-rings on the short sides so that the Windur can be secured to the ground with pegs
• Windur comes with three 13 mm aluminium poles to create the 'round' shape of the awning
• In a handy storage bag
• The poles are held in place by sturdy carabiners to ensure the Windur retains its shape

The Windur canopy is approx. 3.4 m long and approx. 2.4 m wide at the widest end.

Windur has 2 tendons, one of 1.8 m and one of 1.3 m. The shorter tendon also has 2 straps to tie the Windur to your roofrack.
